BEAVER COUNTY, OKLA. - Harlen Black, 92, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Midway Country Church near Logan with the Rev. Bobby Taylor and the Rev. Jack Cornell officiating. Burial will be in Kiowa Cemetery in Beaver County by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker, Texas.

Mr. Black was born Feb. 3, 1913, in Balko to Walter and Ona Mathis Black. He married Rita Ferguson on Aug. 19, 1950, in Laverne.

Survivors include five sons, Dennis Black of Beaver County, Daniel Black of Livingston, Mont., Ron Black of Paradise, Calif., Tim Ray of Shamrock, Texas, and Joe Ray of Amarillo, Texas; a brother, Fred Black of Woodward; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
