Topeka State Journal Tuesday 16 May, 1972, pg. 20:

William Lister, 79, Topeka, died Monday in a Topeka convalescent center.

He was born Jan. 10, 1893 at Maple Hill and lived in Topeka many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lois Lewis, Topeka; 2 sons, Dwight Lister, Clarksville, Ohio, and Harry Lister, Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Goldie Harden, Topeka, Mrs. Mabel McElroy, Skidmore, Mo., and Mrs. Sylvia Reynolds, Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, Columbus Lister, Edwards, Mo.

Graveside services will be Wednesday in Mount Hope Cemetery. Davidson-Duff Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
