Mrs. McGregor was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on April 24, 1924, a daughter of the late Lonnie Evander Darnell and the late Eunice Alley Darnell.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McGregor was predeceased by five siblings, Flossie Cook, Louise Darnell, Ollie Mabe, Bill Darnell and Harry Darnell.
