Funeral services for Florence were held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Carol Holeman officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service in the Reflections Reception Center.

Florence was the daughter of Herbert and Opal (Ware) Thomson. Florence married Asa Andrews on January 3, 1938, in Indiana. Asa preceded Florence in death in 1984.
She then married Robert Packard on February 2, 1987, in Mt. Pleasant. Robert preceded Florence in death in 2010. Until his death, Florence was a loving and caring wife and caregiver.
Florence had been employed in housekeeping at Central Michigan Community Hospital and also at Andrews Grocery and the Beal City Tavern.
Florence enjoyed traveling and camping and loved country music.
Florence is survived by her children, William (Carol) Andrews of St. Johns and Joan (Louis) Baker of Grand Haven, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and sister Eileen Hills of Clare.
Florence was preceded in death by her first husband Asa Andrews and second husband Robert Packard, her sister Alice Carpenter, her brothers Harold Thomson and Rev. Donald Thomson, and grandson Jeff Andrews.
