"Death claims Mrs. Roy Anders.
Mrs. Roy Anders, 65, 802 West Pearl street, Union City, died at 1:20 a. m. Monday in the Randolph County hospital in Winchester from the effects of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered six days earlier.
A native of Randolph county, the deceased was born on October 14, 1877, Ellen Viola Simmons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew L. Simmons. She attended the Lisbon school and was a member of the Union City Christian church.
Surviving besides the husband, Roy, are one son, Paul Anders, of Union City; one sister, Mrs. Oda Girton; one brother, Rolla Simmons, both of Union City, and two
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Union City Christian church, with Rev. W. W. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the New Lisbon cemetery.
The remains will be returned from the Brooks funeral home in Union City, to the residence on West Pearl street where friends may call after noon Tuesday."
