Billie Jean Anderson passed away at home peacefully on January 4, 2012, in Houston,Texas. She was born in Bedias, Texas on May 11, 1926 to parents, Hervey Lee and Zadah Zelphia Perkins who preceded her in death along with her husband, George E. Anderson; four sisters, three brothers, and one sister-in-law.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Hewitt and friend Larry, Ronda Kuhlmann and husband Henry, Martha Baker and husband Randy; son George Anderson, Jr. and wife Johanna; one sister, Ruby Williams; brother-in-law Don Mathis; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members, faithful friends, and loving caregivers.

Rev. John Sims will preside over funeral services at Spring Woods United Methodist Church, 1711 FM 1960, Houston, TX 77090. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Community, Coldspring, TX.

Pallbearers include John Few, William Baker, John Hitchcock, Jason Bennett, Patrick Anderson, and Keith Anderson; honorary pallbearers include Danny Perkins and Donny Mathis.
