Mary A. Estrada, 78, a resident of Santa Clara, NM entered eternal rest Friday, April 5, 2013 at Gila Regional Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1934 in Dwyer, NM to Cosme A. Aguilera and Juanita Lechuga. Mary is a life long resident of Grant County. Mary married Francisco S. Estrada on January 10, 1981. The couple resided in Santa Clara until June 2011. In June the couple became residents of Silver City Care Center. She enjoyed playing bingo and many other activities at the Care Center. She is survived by her loving husband Francisco Estrada of the family home; step-sons, Frank Estrada Jr. and wife Rosemary of Silver City; Raymond Estrada and wife Dini of Las Cruces; step-daughters, Beatrice Leger of Phoenix, AZ; Consuelo Estrada of Alabama; Yvonne Clark and husband Mike of Hurley; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers. Viewing will be Tuesday, April 9th from 5-6 pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the vigil service and holy rosary to begin at 6 pm with Deacon David Castañon reciting. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 10th at 10 am at Santa Clara Catholic Church with Father Robert Becerra officiating. Concluding service interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Adam Gallegos, Samuel Murillo, Isaac R. Nanez, Frank Estrada Jr., John Ruiz and Tony Huerta.
