Abraham L. (Pete) Tout, 61, of 1203 Nebraska Ave., passed away at 10:30 Sunday night at the York General hospital after a week's illness. He submitted to surgery early in the week.

Mr. Tout was born Nov. 5, 1889 at Sutton, NE, and came to York with his parents when he was one year of age. He has since made York his home with the exception of some time spent at Grand Island.

He was stage manager for Wes Fisher at the York Opera House for many years. He later was a movie projectionist. For the past few years he has served as caretaker at the Parkview Apartments. He was also a member of the york Volunteer Fire department for 29 years.

Surviving are four brothers, Wilson of North Platte, George B. and Marshall of York and Clinton Berry Tout of Sacramento, CA. Also surviving are two nephews and nieces, children of the late Mrs. Mildred Oxley, a sister, who made their home with the Tout brothers, Delbert Oxley os Palo Alto, CA, Joe Oxley and Mildred Lusk and Mrs. Janet Humphries, all of Los Angeles.

Funeral services will be held at the Metz chapel at two o'clock Wednesday, Rev. John Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
