Brenda was the youngest daughter of Miner Hill and Ida Mae Northrop Hill,of Hagerstown,Maryland.
Brenda graduated from Canisteo Central School in Canisteo,NY in 1963. She also attended Bryant and Stratton Business School in Buffalo,NY and Suny-Brockport.
She lived in: Deposit,NY,Hornell,NY,Canisteo,NY,Greenwood,NY and also in the states of COL, PA,and Maryland.
Brenda married, Robert L. Armstrong of West VA. in 1968 and together they had one son, Robert Leon Armstrong Jr.(Robbie)in 1978.
She returned to Canisteo,NY in 1983.
Brenda had 2 sisters Barbara Hill Sutton-(Barbara passed-away on Aug.29th,2002 from cancer.)and Betty Lou Hill Matacale who lived in Greenwood,NY but, has recently moved to NC.
Brenda lived at 2605 Main St. Greenwood,NY at the time of her death at the age of 52 from Cancer. Her services were held at Brown and Powers Funeral Home in Canisteo,NY. Interment was on 3/26/1997 in Woodlawn Cemetery,Canisteo,NY. The cemetery is just below the famous living sign of: "CANISTEO". Her plot is located in the front of the cemetery facing the Main St. of Canisteo.
Brenda had a very high IQ, She could read a book or two, do her homework, watch 2 or more TV Shows all at the same time. And knew exactly what was going on. That just always amazed me.She also loved Grilled Peanut-Butter and Jelly Sandwiches.She turned me on to them,their actually very good. She loved the outdoors,We all used to go camping back in the 1960's.
She is missed very much by all, whos hearts she touched.
