Mrs. Parr was born in Germany Oct 17, 1842, but came to Ft. Wayne when she was 22 years of age, and had resided here ever since. She was twice married, her first husband, Daniel Hill, having died thirty-seven years ago.
Later she was united in marriage to Charles J. Parr. She was a member of the Precious Blood Catholic Church, of the Rosary Society and the Sacred Heart League.
Besides the husband she is survived by the following children, Mrs. Edward Voirol, Mrs. J.W. McCausland, Misses Minnie Hill, Frank Hill and Mrs. Sylvester Blaising, all of Ft. Wayne; one step-son, Andrew J. Parr od Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, John and William Brossard of Ft. Wayne, and fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the late residence and at 9 o'clock at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Internment at the Catholic cemetery.
