Laurie was 34 years old when she passed away for a fatal asthima attack. Laurie was born the 10th child of the Late Pat A. Rajski and Patrica Simon Rajski. She graduated for Stevens Point Area High School (SPASH) in1988, and at the time of her death had just completed her junior year at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA. Laurie was a sculpture/new genres major, returning to school from a business career, and sold her home to fulfil her dream of going to Art School. She worked in Student affairs at as a research assistant on special projects, in the Ben Maltz Gallery, and in the executive annex offices. Survivors include her mother, 4 brothers, Peter, Paul, Chris and Scott, 4 sisters, Peggy, Patti, Pam, and Mary. A private family memorial was held on May 15, 2005 in Las Vegas, and burial took place on August 20, 2005 in Stevens Point, WI.
