Cora B. Anderson, 91, of
Chetek, Wis., died Wed. Nov. 8, 1995, at Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek.

She was born August 11, 1904, in Maple Grove Township, rural Chetek, Wis., to Sankey and O'lena (Otterholt) Haugen. In 1930 she married Alvin Anderson in Sheboygan, Wis. She graduated from the Rice Lake Normal School for teacher, and taught at the Weyerhaeuser Schools and at the Otterholt School in Maple Grove Township for many years. She resided in Sheboygan for thirty years and the rest of her life in the Chetek area. She was a past member of the Sheboygan V.F.W. and Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sankey and O'lena (Otterholt) Haugen, her husband Alvin; and one brother, Lyman.

She is survived by two sisters, Esther Jorgenson of Milltown, Wis., and Berna Johnson of Barron; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 13, at 11 a.m. at Chetek Lutheran Church in Chetek, with Pastor Keith Ruehlow and pastor Canny Wheeler officiating. Burial was at Wayside Cemetery in Barron.
Arrangements were made with the Burnham-Ours Funeral Home in Chetek.
