KENNETH "KENNY" CALDWELL
Butte_Kenneth Warren "Kenny" Caldwell was a master electrician and worked in Billings, New Mexico and Butte, where he had lived for a number of years. Ken spoke several languages fluently. His favorite past times were playing his guitar and singing, card games and tinkering with mechanical and electrical toys.
Kenneth Warren "Kenny" Caldwell, 65, died Sunday in St. James Hospital after a long illness.
A son of Grace Maye [WARREN] and Earl K. "Buck" Caldwell, he was born in his grandparents home in Greybull, Wyo. During the depression, he moved with his family to Grass Creek, Spokane, Wash., and then back to Greybull, where he graduated from high school in 1942. He graduated from Coyne Electrical School in Chicago, Ill., in 1943.
During World War II, he served in the Army in the China-Burma-India Theater. He also served during the Korean War. On March 7, 1947, he married Margarette Ilene Manning in Billings.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Brendgord, 1417 Avenue E, Billings; a sister, Betty Lou Huffard, 1101 Ave. E, Billings; and a half-sister, Earline Oset of Roundup.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Harrison in Helena. Duggan-Dolan Funeral Home in Butte is in charge.
