Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park.
Mr. Walden was born in Humansville, Mo., son of Marion and Mellie Mae Walden,. He was a retired laborer and a member of Salem Baptist Church. He married Mary J. Mahon in 1969.
Surviving are his wife; son, Eugene of Decatur; daughter, Janet Mahon of Decatur; sisters, Hattie Rademacher of Decatur and Doris Smith of Deepwater, Mo.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
