It is with much regret we report the death of Mrs. John Kingsbury, which took place in the early morning of the 9th inst., after a few days illness with grippe. Although Mrs. Kingsbury had been in failing health the past few years, her sudden passing away was a great shock to her family and friends. The funeral was held at the house, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Murray in charge of the service, internment took place in the village cemetery. Deceased was in her 71st year and was highly respected by all who knew her. Mr. and Mrs. Kingsbury were married fifty years ago last July. Besides her husband, deceased, leaves eight children? G. H., Fred, Bartlett; Carl, of Ayermere, Alta; two daughters, Clara and Molly, who are married and also live in Ayermere; one daughter, Mrs. A. Rogers, who resides here; and one son, Isaac, who lives with his parents. Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved family in their loss of a kind and loving wife and mother to whom they were deeply attached.
Miss McCay, of Burlington, Vt., spent a few days last week at the home of Mr. John Kingsbury, being called by the death of her sister, Mrs. Kingsbury.
