Morgan Morton Coleman, age 83 of Dublin, died Thursday afternoon, August 15, 2013 in Chippenham Hospital in Richmond. He was born on July 20, 1930 in Radford and was the son of the late Lottye Hundley Coleman and Morton Morgan Coleman. He grew up on Back Creek on Highland Road in Pulaski County, and was a graduate of Dublin High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, was a talented photographer, and an avid gardener. He was a member of Old Dominion Blacksmithing Association. His primary career in life was a programmer analyst in the computer field. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Spratt Coleman, a son, Arthur L. Coleman, a daughter, Nancy Lee Coleman, and a sister, Helen Coleman. He is survived by a daughter and four sons. Three sisters, eight grandsons and 14 granddaughters. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Pulaski. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Seagle Funeral Home, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Christ Episcopal Church, Pulaski, VA.
