Memorial services for Juanita M. Caldwell, 79, Lenexa, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, at Monticello United Methodist Church, Shawnee. Burial will be in Monticello Union Cemetery, Shawnee. She was cremated.

Mrs. Caldwell died Friday, April 20, 2001, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park.

She was born December 27, 1921, in Wilder, the daughter of William and Ethel Mae Barth.

She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church.

She married Fred Caldwell in 1946. He preceded her in death.

During World War II, she worked in New Orleans, and then at North American Aviation in Fairfax, Kansas City, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Caldwell, three brothers, Fred Barth, Merle Barth, and Harry Barth, and two sisters, Ada Milburn and Gladys Maher.

Survivors include a son, Dean Scott Caldwell, Seoul, South Korea; two daughters, Linda Ann Caldwell, of Mesa, Ariz., and Jean Marie Paxton, Edwardsville, Kan; one brother, William A. Barth, Lenexa; and a grandchild.
