HOLDEN, Douglas John Peacefully and surrounded by love, at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, November 11, 2004, in his 64th year. Doug Holden, beloved husband and best friend of Marilyn Fraser of Kingston , for 42 years. Loving father of Rob Holden and his wife Carrie, of Amherstview. Predeceased by his parents, Ethel and Robert Holden. Dear brother of Richard Darlene, Jennifer, Anne Louise, all of Kingston and Michael Sue of Vagreville, Alberta and their families. Brother-in-law of Willa Hid, deceased Horrocks, Inez, deceased Percy Freeman, Bill Phyllis Fraser and Adrian Switzer, all of Kingston. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear Godfather of Brandon Carter of Battersea. Will be sadly missed by 1000 Island Old Timers Hockey and TESPA and TELSPA slo-pitch leagues of Amherstview. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel Counter Street at Highway 2. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Liturgy of the Word in the chapel on Monday, November 15, at 1:30 pm. Reverend Terry Lynch officiating. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingston Regional Cancer Centre or St. Elizabeth Health Care, in Doug's memory.
