Isabelle Melton Conner, 81, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Rebecca Melton; husband, Roy Conner, and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Richard Conner; daughter, Lora Loving (Robert); three grandchildren, Jason Conner, Valerie Conner, and Rebecca Conner; and eight great-grandchildren. Isabelle enjoyed her faith and loved to pray.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013, in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home, with the Pastor Andrew Draughn officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Conner has been entrusted to Valley Funeral Service.
