Ollie May Tyser, 88, the daughter of Perry and Clara (Jones) McAdams was born at Helvey on Oct. 26, 1924, and passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Countryside Home in Madison.

She attended rural Star School District 95 near Western and graduated from Western Public School in 1942.

She was united in marriage to William Tyser on July 18, 1945, at Washington, Kan. They were blessed with two children, Carol Jean and Donald William. They made their home on a farm northeast of Western and continued to lived there and farm there until her husband passed away.

In 1996 she moved to Wilber and from there moved to Countryside Home in Madison in September of 2011.

Ollie's life and memory will be forever remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Don and Orma Tyser, Leigh; stepdaughter Donnis Aksamit, Hallam; three granddaughters and husbands Tonya and Todd Danson, Waverly, Melanie and Marvin Gutz, Osmond, and Danae and Rob Sizer, Lincoln; stepgranddaughter and husband Kim and Glen Rempe, Beatrice; five great-grandchildren Alex Danson, Waverly, Connor and Cali Gutz, Osmond, and Jaymes and Clayton Sizer, Lincoln; two stepgreat-granddaughters and husband Jessica and Mike Bowen, Lincoln, and Chelsea Rempe, Lincoln; and one stepgreat-great-grandson Ivan Bowen, Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Tyser on Jan. 17, 1996; infant daughter Carol Jean Tyser; her parents; stepson-in-law Loren Aksamit; brothers and sisters-in-law Russell and Nola McAdams, and Glenn and Elva McAdams; infant brother Elmer McAdams; sister and brothers-in-law Bernice Fleming Spier, Joe Fleming and Henry Spier; and stepgreat-grandson Matthew Rempe.

Service was Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber with the Rev. Theresa Meyer officiating.

Interment was at the Wilber Czech Cemetery.
