MEYER, Ill. -- Willard "Bill" H. Reiter, 80, a retired farmer of Meyer, died at 8:35 p.m. Monday (Aug. 14, 1995) in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Mr. Reiter was born Nov. 28, 1914, in Fairmont, Mo., a son of Henry and May Crow Reiter. He married Alta Penn May 25, 1947, in Palmyra, Mo. She survives.
Mr. Reiter farmed in the Meyer area, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the former Meyer Community Church and the Meyer Gun and Boat Club.
Survivors include two sons, Terry of Meyer, and Rick of Ursa. He was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Curry-Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon by the Rev. Wilbur Sharp. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery near Ursa.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
