Claude R. Hagler, 74, 320 Pierce St., died yesterday at a Taft hospital. Mr. Hagler was born March 1, 1889 in Illinois. He had lived in Taft for the past 43 years and had worked for Standard Oil Company until his retirement as a maintenance foreman in 1954. Mr. Hagler is survived by his wife, Gladys; four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Krisher of Taft, Mrs. Vivian Rhodes, Mrs. Jacqueline Pierce and Mrs. Maxine Kelley, residences not known at this time; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel of the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Slorpe of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be at West Side District Cemetery.
