Ida Eva Jines, 99, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Chaucer Estates in Wichita.

She was born Aug. 30, 1909, to Isaac H. and Ella M. Wallace McCurdy in Beaver County, Okla.

She married Ben Jines Feb. 18, 1928, in Perryton, Texas. He died July 4, 2000.

She and her husband farmed in Beaver County for more than 70 years.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Turpin, Okla.

She is survived by one son, Sherman Jines, Wichita; three grandchildren, Bonnie Starks and husband, Ron, Nickerson, Sherlyn Greer and husband, Rodger, Sublette, and Merlyn Sawyers and husband Bill, Turpin; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Jeremy Yonkers, Turpin, Justin and Tayler Sawyers, Turpin, Garrett Walter, Manhattan, Brock and Jennifer Walter, Garden City, Rachel Walter, Sublette, Valerie and Tracy Cooper, Nickerson, Tornia and Harold Henderson, Sallisaw, Okla., Serena and Jereme Tiedtke, Hutchinson, Amanda Weatherby and Tony Audry, Liberal, Janet and Chris Redman, Liberal, Johnny and Aaron Weathberby, Kansas City, Kan., and Susan Starks, Hutchinson; and great-great-grandchildren, Jordan and Konner Yonkers, Turpin, Shalynn and Samantha Moyer, Sallisaw, Sutton and Sullivan Starks, Hutchinson, KaSaundra and Caleb Tiedtke, Hutchinson, and Darius, Damarie and Symphane Audry, Liberal.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Betty Weatherby, two grandsons, Leon Weatherby and Steve Starks, one brother and five sisters.

o Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Chapel, with the Rev. Stanley Lehnert presiding.
