Age 43, of 601 S. Wilbur Ave., Sayre, PA, Thursday, May 15, 1980 at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., following a lengthy illness. He was a life long resident of Sayre. He ended his employment as a machinist at Ingersoll Rand in 1969 due to disability. He was a communicant of the Church of the Epiphany and a member of the Waverly Moose Lodge. Survived by his wife, the former Saundra Renshaw; three sons, Alexander J. Jr., Brian E. and Shawn J., all at home; grandson Anthony Warren Mastrantonio of Jacksonville; sisters Mrs. Martin (Mary) Derrig of Sayre, Mrs. James (Angeline) Danna of Elmira; brothers Louis of Sayre, Henry of Las Vegas, Angelo of Elmira; several nieces, nephews and many great nieces and nephews. A sister Mrs. Kathern Tribe, and a brother, Anthony preceded him in death. Visitation will be at the family home, 601 S. Wilbur Ave., Sayre, anytime after 6 p.m. on Saturday and all day Sunday. The Most Holy Rosary will be offered at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Prayers will be offered at the family home Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Epiphany at 9:30 a.m. with Msgr. Thomas Jordan as celebrant.
