Oscar Achamire
MILES CITY, MT.---- Oscar E. Achamire, 84 of Miles City, died ia a hospital here Tuesday after a short illness.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p/m. at Graves Funeral Home, the Rev. Raymond Reeder of the First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be at Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
Mr. Achamire was born April 14, 1884 in Sweet Springs, MO.
He came to Montana in 1908, homesteading north of Miles City, where he ranched until 1936.
He then moved to Miles City and worked for the Milwaukee Railroad until retiring in 1953.
He married Ethel Cole in Miles City March 12, 1917.
Survivors include the widow; a son Frank of San Bruno, CA., two daughters Mrs. Elmo Ellis of Mt. Clemens, MI. Mrs. Robert Steiner of Hartford, MI., a brother Harry of Williston, N.D., a sister Mrs. Gladys Wodecki of The Dalles, OR., seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
