We have just learned of the death and funeral of our much esteemed friend, Mrs. Robert McLaughlin, Sr., of Lee Township, Carroll County, who was suddenly stricken down with typhoid fever after an illness of scarcely two weeks. She died Monday evening at 5 o'clock, p.m., and her remains were interred on Tuesday, the 9th day of September, 1890, in the Scroggsfield Cemetery near the church of her choice of which she was a constant member for many years.
