Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Robert, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter, Ann, Fishers, and a brother, J. Richard Payne, Greenwood.
The body was cremated and the ashes will be buried in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
