Henry was Born in Penn.The son of William and Charlotte Russell, moved to Davis County Iowa in the spring of 1854.His grandparents were James and Rachael Frazier Russell, his brother Samuel lived in Fabius twp and arrived at the same time.Henry Married Rhode Love on Aug 9,1847 she passed on Dec 9,1851. They had two children James E. Russell and John L Russell, Henry later Married Mary E Kurtz on may 24,1853 she was from Pittsburg P.A. they had 8 children cassie, Charlotte Lottie , Emily S, Anna A, Mary Ida ,Jenny L, Etta B ,William J and Harry L Russell.
In 1859 Henry built a two story eight sided House on the farm to the west of the cemetery all brick made on the property which stood from 1859 to the 1980's,over 120 years.
