Wife of Thomas P. Lippincott

Hettie and Thomas Lippincott were married, and they and four of their children are buried in this plot. Front row, left to right: Lydia R. Hettie R. Camp married Thomas Pollard Lippincott June 8, 1876, in Blair, Nebraska. Thomas was a livestock buyer and co-owned a farm implement business with James Foley. They lived in Washington County most of their married lives. Thomas served one term as Washington County Clerk from 1882-1883. Their baby daughter Dora died Feb. 5. 1883, the day before her 2nd birthday.

Thomas bought out Mr. Foley, and then ran the business alone until 1910. During that time another daughter, Edna L. was born, and she died March 11, 1895, shortly after her 9th birthday.

Paul (8) b. Nebraska.


Hettie and Thomas had at least five children: (Mark) Ray, Paul T, Lydia, Dora and Edna. Paul T. went to WWI and returned. All five are buried in the Blair Cemetery.
