Mrs. Freeman F. Abbott died at the home of her son, in Wayne, Nebraska, last Friday the 15th last. On monday the remains were brought to this city and then taken to Franklin Grove Cemetery for interment and where servcies were conducted by J. W. Walters of the Christian Church. Mrs. Abbotts's maiden name was Melinda C. Eastman. She was born November 14, 1931 in Oxford County, Maine. Her marriage to Mr. Abbott occurred July 4, 1848. Three children were born to them, two of whom, survive, Jas. E. Abbott of Wayne, Nebraska and Mr.s Lizzie C. Coggeshall of Clearfield, Iowa. Mr. Abbott died some years ago. The family were old time resident of this section and will be remembered by many of our readers.
