Lois Patten Haws was the daughter of Elijah and Catherine Floyd Pease Haws. She married Samuel Harvey Clark on Feb. 17, 1860 in Salem, Utah. She married Martin Luther Box on Sept. 16, 1870.

Note: Husband Martin Haws death certificate in 1905 shows him as a "widower", but Lois was still living at that time. Also her death certificate shows her as Lois Patten Clark, with no mention of the Haws name. The above, coupled with the fact that they are not buried together (going from plot numbers) suggests that perhaps they were divorced.
