Willard was the fourth of six known children born to Daniel Draper and Naomah Dean of West Dedham (now Westwood), Mass. He was married on 2 November 1826 to Louisa SMITH, b. Walpole, MA 9 Aug 1806, d. Dedham, MA 19 June 1883, the daughter of Abijah and Hannah Smith of Walpole. Mr. Draper lived all his life at High Rock Farm, W. Dedham, in the house built by his father. He was deacon in the West Baptist Church for 30 years. He and Louisa had nine children.
