Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Ames, 64, of Carrollton were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 1984 at the St. Peter Church of God in Christ with Elder E.H. Hemphill officiating. Burial was in the Jones Chapel Cemetery in Carrollton. Mrs. Ames died Sept. 8 at Tyler Holmes Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Abbie Ames, Jr., of Carrollton; one son, Charlie Applon of Carrollton; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Williams and Mrs. Vinasulean Williams, both of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Wiley Martin of St. Louis, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.
Roberts & Sons Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
