Marie was employed for thirteen years as a code clerk and typist with the U. S. Government and retired in 1955 to start a family. Her service was with the Civil Service Commission, Office of Strategic Services, and the Central Intelligence Agency. The CIA is where she met her husband Edward, after being introduced to him by his father, Edward Carl Clobus, Sr. who was employed there as a security guard.
Marie was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Arlington, Virginia. Her faith and devotion were as firm as a rock. She served God through volunteerism in His house and at church services at a local nursing home.
Marie died at Hospice of Northern Virginia on August 4, 1995. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Shirley Mae Entzian Kendall.
She is survived by her husband and children, grandchildren Laura Marie Dean, Scott Nathan Dean and Eric Matthew Dean, two brothers, Rudy and Norman Entzian and two sisters, Frieda Weyraugh and Edna Huddle.
