Margaret Kilpatrick Kellam, a retired music teacher and private instructor of piano and voice for 30 years, died Wednesday at her home. She was 75. Mrs. Kellam was born in Alexandria and lived in Jefferson Parish for the past 49 years. She graduated from Syracuse University. She was a former music teacher at Archbishop Blenk High School, Ursuline Academy, Ridgewood Preparatory School and Schneckenburger Elementary. She was a member of New Orleans Opera Chorus, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and Metairie Music Club and a parishioner of Christ Anglican Catholic Church. Survivors include five daughters, Juliet K. Hohan, Paula K. Wild, Annabel L., Peggy V., and Lise E. Kellam; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. a funeral will be held Wednesday at noon at Christ Anglican Catholic Church, 4316 N. Woodlawn Ave. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Garden of Memories. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
