Orvin was born to Mr. & Mrs. Henry B. Albery on their family farm 69 yrs. ago. He grew up in the Nevada area, & attended the Nevada school. He never married, but worked in various jobs locally. He was known as a quiet, honest man & well-respected in this town. He joined with his brother, Henry, in the grocery business, Albery Grocery. He belonged to the Oddfellows Lodge, serving in various positions for 33 yrs. His health began to fail, & he had to retire from his work & position in the lodge. After a hospitalization in a D.M. hospital, he went to his brother Henry's home with whom he had lived for 32 yrs., where he passed quietly to the Lord. Services were held at Henry Albery's home, under the rituals of the No. 104 I.O.O.F Lodge. He was buried in the Albery family plot at the Nevada Muncipal Cemetery.
