Samuel & Catharine had 4 children:
1. SARAH ISABELLE 1856-1946 married Samuel Cavins Sadler
2. MARY ca 1858-1870
3. WILLIAM ca 1858-1870
4. ODUS LINCOLN 1865-1935 married Ella Marshall
Mary & William are found in the 1860 Owen Co, IN census, ages 2 years old, but do not appear in the 1870 census.
In the 1900 Shawnee, KS census, Catharine is reported to have been the mother of two children with two still living. I can not account for the discrepancy. She was living with her daughter, Sarah, at the time, both are reported to be widowed. Catharine certainly was, I am not so sure about Sarah, whose occupation is physician.
In Catharine's obituary found in the Owen Co (IN) Democrat dated Jan 13, 1921, she was raised in the Methodist church, but in later years, "she shared much of her husband's & daughter's belief in the teachings of the Seventh Day Adventists".
The funeral was at her son's residence, with burial at the McNaught cemetery on River Hill. She was survived by her brother, Capt Robert McNaught of Owen Co; son, Odus of Owen Co; daughter, Sarah of Seattle; grandchildren Marie Sadler of Seattle WA, Pavil Wilson of Bloomington IN, Dr William S Sadler Sr & great grandson, William S Sadler Jr of Chicago IL.

"CATHERINE WILSON is also recorded in the DAR Cemetery Index as being buried at River Hill and the DAR Cemetery Index was composed by DAR members walking the cemeteries and recording the stones."
This information was provided to me in an email from Laura Wilkerson of the Owen Co (IN) Library in Spencer, IN on Aug 15, 2013.
