Mrs. Plunkett was the oldest child born to the union of William Pinkney Mazie and Anna Liza "Annie" Dickey. She married J. P. Plunkett in Bienville Parish, LA on December 30, 1911.

She was survived by her husband; four sons; Vernon, Ossie, Fred and Clyde Plunkett, all of Delhi; nine daughters, Mrs. Jesse Parrott of Wisner, Mrs. Katie Brimer of Castor, Mrs. T. H. Harris of Bastrop, Mrs. Gladys Bracken of Bruce, MS, Mrs. Dollie Phillips of Houston, TX, Mrs. Jewel Antee, Mrs. Sam Beaube of Delhi, Miss Sweetie May Plunkett and Miss Beatrice Plunkett, all of Delhi.

Gravesite Details

The 1910 and 1920 US census records for Bienville Parish, LA suggest that Bammie was born in 1896--the year after her parents married. Thus, I believe this is her correct year of birth and later records are erroneous.
