Amelia Beatrix Morgan Riley Hills was born July 8, 1895 in Waycross, Ware County, Georgia to Jefferson Morgan and Annie L. Scott Morgan. About 1926 she married Robert Fleming Riley. In 1929 Bob and Beatrix divorced in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. About 1942 she married widower George Burkhart Hills in Jacksonville. Beatrix died on September 7, 1971 in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia and is buried next to her husband George in Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville.
