Services Wednesday For Edwin Anderson
Edwin Hartman Anderson, Orland carpenter and resident here for 13 years, died Friday afternoon at his home on East Shasta street at the age of 53. He was born March 3, 1905 in Sinai, S.D. Anderson had been in poor health for about two months with a heart condition.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Lutheran church here with the Rev. Johannes Hoifjeld officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery.
An active member of the Lutheran church here, Anderson is survived by his wife, Helgena and three sons, Lew Allen, LaVern and Leroy, all of Orland.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Brantley, Orland; Mrs. Hazel Wosie, Volga, SD and Mrs. Constance Christianson, Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers Arthur, Minneapolis, Minn. and Henry A., Brookings, SC; a stepbrother Lester Mathison of Volga, his stepfather, Albert Mathison of Willows and one grandchild. - Transcribed by E.
