Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. in Dartmont Baptist Church for Sherman Cook, 55, Evarts, who died Thursday in Harlan Hospital after a long illness.
Burial will be in Harlan Memorial Gardens. The body is at the family home.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Amanda; mother, Mrs. Betty Cook, Evarts; seven children, Lloyd, Silas, Sarah, George, Judy, Ruby, Herman, all of Evarts; two brothers, George, Hazard, Ky, and two sisters.
