TROY -- Mary Wardlaw "Nanie Fudge" Deason, 91, lifelong resident of Troy SC, and wife of the late Henry Deason Sr., died June 2, 2009 at the Savannah Heights Living Center in McCormick. She was born in Troy to the late William W. and Annie Bradley Wardlaw. Mrs. Deason was a lifelong dedicated member of the Troy A.R.P. Church and the Square Dance Club. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, John and Foster Wardlaw; and one sister, Betty Wardlaw. Surviving Mrs. Deason are her son, Henry Deason Jr. and his wife, Donna of Troy; a brother, Frank Wardlaw of Troy; a sister, Annie Wright of Troy; two grandchildren, Rusty Deason and his wife, Tina of Greenwood and Wende Brown and her husband, Kevin of Troy; three great-grandchildren, Emily Deason, Ryan Curtis Deason and Rhette Michael Brown. Burial in the Troy City Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home of Abbeville.
