TROY - Mrs. Mildred Ann Christie Cox, 73, of Troy, died August 7, 2013. Burial in Troy Cemetery. Mrs. Millie was a lifelong resident of Troy. She graduated from Greenwood High School in 1958; and afterward, she attended Erskine College. She worked for a number of years at Parke-Davis, then she retired as manager at Tupperware after 35 years. Mildred was a very active member of Troy Community Center and Troy ARP Church. She was the daughter of the late R.W. Christie and Annie Wardlaw Christie Wight. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Henry Glenn Cox and a sister, Rosemary Young. Survivors include her son, Christopher (Chris) W. Cox of Troy; and two grandchildren, Chelsea and Megan Cox. Strom Funeral Home.
