Helen Claire Goger Andrews Born July 8, 1928, and died peacefully surrounded by her family on August 6, 2013. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, she was a proud graduate of St. Philip Neri Grade School, St. Agnes Academy and Butler University. She took great pride in her Irish heritage and enjoyed cheering on her Butler Bulldogs, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Bishop Chatard Trojans, Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts. A devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker, Helen is survived by five loving children: Marianne Cavanaugh (James), William Andrews, Cathy Leibel (Gregory), Helen Andrews, Sheila Blackwell (Kenneth); nine grandchildren: James, John and Maribeth Cavanaugh, Katrina Marin (Michael), Daniel, Eileen and Matthew Leibel and Kevin and Joseph Blackwell; and one great-grandchild, Julia Marin, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann and William Goger, and much-loved sister, Marieanne Nohl. The viewing will be on Saturday, August 10, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. Both will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1827 Kessler Blvd., E. Dr., Indianapolis, IN., where she had been a member for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary .
