Patsy Delores Seek 75, a life long resident of Oroville passed away August 2, 2013 in Mount Shasta, CA.

She was born Jan 25, 1938 in Oroville to Helen Moural and Orlan Walker.

Patsy was the Native American Programs coordinator and youth counselor at Oroville Union School District for 26 years. She was Chairperson of the Konkow Valley Band of Maidu, coordinator for the Maidu Salmon Ceremony, coordinator with Maidu Advisory Counsel, tribal participant of Field to Plants, a field guide very important to the Maidu community and she donated to the St. Labre Indian School. In 1986, she was given the Golden Gifts to Education award.

She is survived by husband of 52 years Ron Seek; brothers Don Jones and Bobby Beavers; daughters, Margie Hartshorn her husband, Robert, Berniece MacDonald and her husband Scott, Alberta Warrick, Deborah Seek-Reynolds and Tammy Knight (Seek) and husband Paul; sons David Gramps and wife Debbie, Ronnie Gramps and wife Kelly and Gary Seek and wife Laura; 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by mother Helen Moural; son Martin, Gramps; sister, Sally Engasser & brothers Arthur (Smokey) Jones & Eddie Jones.
