WOODS. W. N. 81, of Widen, Clay County, died Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Vera Shaffer of Widen, after a long illness. He was a retired employee of Elk River Coal and Lumber Co. and a member of Southern Methodist Church of Richwood. Also surviving are a son, Buster of Widen: two brothers, Nim J. of Flatwoods and C. A. Woods of Strange Creek: seven grandchildren and one, great - grandchild.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Walnut Grove Methodist Church, Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The body will be taken to the home of the daughter at 6 p.m. Saturday and to the church one hour before service by Clay Funeral Home of Clay.
