Ralph Alvin Hopkins, 91, Erin, Tn., died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Patients Choice Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10am Wednesday at Nave Funeral Home and graveside service at 2pm in Parsons, Tn with Bro. David Hardin, Dr. Mark Landiss and Bro. Robert McCabe officiating. Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pm until 8pm Tuesday and from 8am until service Wednesday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hopkins was born August 19, 1918 in Kennett, Missouri son of the late John Lewis Hopkins and Elnora Shannon Hopkins. He was a member of Elk Creek Baptist Church, Local 651 in Flint Mi., Far order of Eagles, 629 Flent, Erin Chambers of Commers, JD Lewis Center, West. Ky Union. Surviviors include his wife Elaine Hopkins of Tn. Ridge, Tn., two daughters Elsie Montney, Donna Smith both of Genesee,Michigan twelve grandchildren twenty four great-grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren.
