Born and reared in Shady Bower, he was the son of the late Grant L and Ann (Mullen) Clark.
He was a veteran of World War I.
He had been employed for 32 years as a power house operator for the North American Cement Corp, retiring in January, 1960. He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church, Western Pike, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was also a member of Local 33 United Cement, Lime and Gypsum Workers of America.
Besides his wife, Betty (Lapole) Clark, he is survived by: brothers, LeRoy, Big Spring; Lloyd, Dry Run; and Ray Clark, Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. Edith Hall, Broadfording; step-sons, Kenneth Thorne; Donald and Leo Pfeiffer, all of Hagerstown; and 10 step-grandchildren.
Services Tuesday at 1 pm at Suter-Rouzer Funeral Home, the Rev Raymond Miller officiating. Interment will be in St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Western Pike.
