Born in Gosnell, AR., to John Lee and Bertha Brackin Wisdom.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Blytheville and was the retired owner of Wisdom Construction Company.
Johnny was active in his church where he served as an usher and deacon. He enjoyed cooking and served in the church kitchen. He was always available to help those in need. Johnny was a loving father and grandfather and a friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Wanda Jewell Burress Wisdom; grandsons, Daniel Wayne Friday, Pete Tornatore and Tyler Gray; sisters, Juanita Baker, Geneva Bevill and Wanda Reagan and brothers, J.B. Wisdom and Jim Wisdom.
Johnny is survived by his children, Audrey Saliba and husband, Jack of Springfield, MO, Charles Wisdom and wife, Carol of Blytheville, AR, Debra Pruett of Amory, MS and Sherry Kay Tornatore of Bardstown, KY; grandchildren, Keith Dixon and wife, Amy, Niki Nichols and husband, Randy, Kevin Wisdom and wife, Charlsie, Jonathan Saliba and wife, Anna and Jason Saliba; 5 great grandchildren and unborn great grandchild, Evelyn Saliba.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements were by Cobb funeral home.
