Lenora Craddock Everson, 85, of Parkersburg, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Heritage Hills Retirement Inn, Hendersonville, N.C.

She was born at Altizer, the daughter of the late David and Letha Craddock.

She earned a bachelor of arts degree at Glenville State College and a masters degree in education at West Virginia University. She was a former school teacher with 41 years of service in Calhoun and Wood counties. She was Teacher of the Year in Wood County in 1980.

Surviving are two daughters, Jacqulyn Bach of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Becky Lister of Hendersonville; twin brother, Bill Craddock of Canal Fulton, Ohio; six grandchildren; one step-son, John Sartor of Parkersburg, with whom she had a special relationship; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Rick Swearengin officiating. Burial was in Gibson Cemetery, Arnoldsburg.
